Opening of a Dream

In 2021, just three years ago, we had a vision for creating a sustainable business that would provide great food on a local basis.  We strive to keep our carbon footprint low and look to ways to innovate in creating closed growing systems in your neighbourhood. The brand name, Whistler Harvest,  has become synonymous at farmer’s markets in southwestern BC, as has our distribution to restaurants and hotels.

2024 will be a pivotal year as we expand.  We are introducing Whistler Harvest franchises to Canada and our team is developing ready-to-farm shipping containers that will just need a location with power and water.  While we are still looking at the numbers, our goal is creating a low barrier to entrance for all those interested.  We are looking for people with a passion for mushrooms and microgreens!

We are also looking to expand our food and beverage products alongside mushroom supplements. This year, we expect to have our organic mushroom fertilizer ready to sale too!  We will be introducing a subscription service so you can be guaranteed your health products.  We continue to work towards fulfilling fresh mushrooms through web orders and will keep you posted.

Our Goals

The company is now producing value added products including Mushroom jerky and soups, while developing mushrooms supplement and extracts.  Driven by the growing demand for mushrooms, the Company is embarking on building franchises whereby turnkey mushrooms/microgreen farms may de drop shipped to locations across Canada and the USA.
